ABOUT BECKET MORGAN

I am a native of Orange County, NY with strong family ties to North Carolina (Wilmington, Castle Hayne, Shallotte, Cary, Benson and Smithfield). I am a 1995 graduate of UNC-W, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, supplemented with an emphasis in Communications. I have continued my education from both Miller-Motte Technical College class of 2006, Alpha Beta Kappa/Summa Cum Laude and Cape Fear Community College class of 2010, Phi Theta Kappa in computer studies; so that I could stay on top of emerging technologies as I have worked to build my real estate business.

I take great pride in giving back to the community that I love and volunteer for various organizations including: Adopt-A Highway and Relay for Life. I am the Vice-President of the Cape Fear Community College Alumni Council, a volunteer tutor to elementary school students in reading comprehension through the PASS Program, an active member of my HOA board and support several animal rescue groups. On the home front, I am married to Jim and we are the proud parents of two beautiful, smart and entertaining rescue cats, Sharon and Alex.

I am honored to be a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the North Carolina Association Realtors® (NCAR), the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors® (WRAR), and the Realtors Commercial Alliance® (RCA). I am a member of the RCA/MLS (Multiple Listings Service) & the PDC (Professional Development) Committees. I believe real estate is about understanding and listening, while incorporating knowledge and building relationships. I take pride in being consistent, patient and always follow through.
